Laughter is the best medicine!

Let’s be straight up, having a chronic illness sucks! Some of us may cry, some may joke and laugh about it, I do cry a bit, but my main coping strategy is to say some very inappropriate jokes and laughing at everything. I strongly believe that the best medicine is laughter! Here are some funny memories that I have made from living with chronic illness.
After I went on holiday with a friend and came back I had my feet on the wrong feet, I only realised after being told, I had gone to a cafe and walked around town, yes, with my shoes on the wrong feet!
I projectile vomited while talking to the doctors, it still cracks me up, I think it must’ve looked amazing how high and far it went.
After a party I held at my flat, (I live on the 7th floor and my friends looking over the balcony and I say) “You know what would be awesome, if you all jump off and go splat!” (Yes I said that, it sounded so much better in my head!)
Let’s not forget all the times I have been left in hysterics from farting at the most inappropriate times, being in public and unable to control how loud they are! (I suffer from IBS and have digestion issues caused by Lupus)
My body is very sensitive to anything and everything that I eat, this one time I got caught out, ended up with a poop explosion which went all over my back to my shoulders, not sure how…? Thankfully my fiance helped clean me up and did all my washing. Thanks babe. XX
I hope these stories help you to relax and laugh when something that is embarrassing to you happens.
